open taste & outer vision

1. at the wash house a swirl descends
into the depths of the black water

- it’s center glows with spring light

lumps of lush moss
gorged with morning dew and bird songs
push through the porosity of the volcanic stone

cracking homes open

2. the steel stone of my winter eyes
softens into a vivid tadpole

open to miracles

3. my own flesh pulsates
at the same rate as the sun’s halo
in my wet eyes

a fly comes to the edge of the wound

sara b is a visual artist living and working in the woods of Vantaa, Finland. Her creative practices are about finding ways to carve desire paths in the world, on the edge between internal and external, digital and analog realms. This can take the shape of sculpture, mixed-media installations, textile art, writing or publishing.
